“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19-20
We are called to be disciples, to be followers after Jesus, obeying his commands and holding onto the scripture inspired values found in His word to us. Our hope is that we would be a community committed to these values not out of obligation, but passionately in response to the incredible things God has done in our lives and continues to do through us.
Our aim is that everyone at Departure Bay Church and the city it is in would be walking with Jesus, gathering for worship, growing in a Life Group, expanding in knowledge and skill, sharing in the work, and engaging in the mission.

Believing that life change is supernatural, we will demonstrate our dependance on God with Spirit-filled, personal and corporate prayer.
We will invest in Christ centred leadership through discipling, mentoring and equipping our church body
Our worship will consist of a fervent, personal, corporate and loving response for who He is and what he has done.
We will support the development of authentic grace-filled relationships that are characterized by love. forgiveness and understanding.
We will strive to be intentional missionaries reflecting Jesus in our daily endeavours, reaching out in word and deed to those whom God places into our lives.
